Adult Classes:
Adult drumming classes run between September and June, usually broken into 10-week blocks, with the exception of an intermediate/advanced year-long program.
Students in group classes have the opportunity to gain experience in the four principles of Shara's teaching: technique development, timing, tradition, & improvisation. All four elements are explored. Community is a big part of these classes and students become close & interdependent through the process of learning together.
Alternatively, private lessons are available, appropriate for students who are interested in developing in a one-to-one setting. Semi-private & small group classes are also available.
